Courtesy of the technicians at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Seona Mason developed a strong, textured, groggy stoneware, known in the department as "Seona's clay".

Seona's free and expressive forms earned her the Graduate Fellowship Award courtesy of The Foundation of Rotary International, to which she chose to attend Ruth Prowse Kunskool, Cape Town, South Africa. The gritty texture of her signature clay marries with the local stone used in her current artworks.
Harking back to Seona's personal interest in the Scottish coastline and it's beaches of geological importance, her wall mounted Bodily Landscapes are created from molds of male and female models.
